Introduction

Our goal: Stronger funding for Sweden's non-profit sector

We asked around 1,000 Swedish donors what would have made them give more. The three most common answers were about transparency in how gifts are used, easier comparisons between organisations, and control over how organisations communicate with the donor. Those are the needs Samfora is built for.

Lower fees and full transparency

Organisations pay unnecessarily high transaction costs. Payment providers, banks and card companies often take a share of what could have gone to the cause.

How much of a SEK 200 gift reaches the cause?

Payment methodTotal feeFee breakdownShare of donation received
Swish SamforaSEK 0No fees (with 90-account)SEK 200 (100%)

We show the transaction cost to the donor before the donation. A transaction via Samfora costs on average half as much as comparable services.

We only integrate with payment services that meet the PCI DSS standard.

All traffic is encrypted with SSL/TLS.
